Scholarship

I have presented research on jazz and stride piano, music theory, and applications of technology to music pedagogy at leading national conferences, including the Sonneck Society, the Society for Music Theory, the College Music Society, Technological Directions in Music Learning, the Association for Technology in Music Instruction, and the international ICMSN. In addition, I have contributed CD liner notes or translations to two dozen Sony Classical European releases, including the high-profile Ligeti complete edition series.
