Midterm At-Home Exam
This exam will remain open until midnight on Friday, Feb. 28. You may complete it any time before then.
Feel free to look up anything online or elsewhere. However your answers should be in your own words: do not cut and paste.
Internet searches (even the “non-AI” kind) have gotten almost too clever. If you need to look something up online, look up the general topic and construct the answer from the concepts explained there. If you simply cut and paste the question into Google or ChatGPT, you might get a good answer, but you will probably not get the context that can actually help you to learn or reinforce whatever it is you need to understand better.
This is the only exam for the course: there is no final exam. The exam counts for 15% of your course grade.
