The answer to question 11 is “half as loud as the loudest sound your system can clearly and accurately record or transmit”. This is typically what an input meter, or amplifier meter, or PA meter will measure, because it is what the sound engineer most needs to know: how much of a dynamic range buffer zone, or headroom , is available above the loudest sounds being recorded or played back.
